We are proud to carry a wide-selection of American-Made salon equipment. Select products from chairs and stations to pedicure units and barber poles are proudly made by hand here in the United States and held to the highest standard of quality. These products guarantee many years of unmatched durability from other salon furniture brands.
Your clients get to choose their hair color, and we want to give you choices, too… just with your chairs and stations. We won’t charge you extra to customize most chairs and stations to your liking. Almost every single one of our chairs and stations can be customized in a series of colors. On Kaemark branded chairs, additional premium color upgrades are available in addition to the selection of free colors. As you’re browsing the site, you’ll see color swatches on the bottom of the thumbnail images, indicating the free color upgrades for that product.
Will all of your products pass inspection in your salon? When you're buying from other companies, sometimes you won't get equipment that does, but here you can rest easy that our products will. All of our products pass fire retardant codes and meet Universal Plumbing Code (UPC) specifications. However, while our products are "UPC Approved", it is up to the plumber to ensure he is complying with the local codes: as long as he installs the drain assembly, fixtures, and vacuum breaker properly, then you will pass inspection. It's important to make sure that all of your products meet inspection requirements, so there will be no delays in your salon's opening.
We understand that products need some love in order to stay looking new and beautiful. The quality of our products is something that we stand firmly behind, which is why we have the best warranty out there. Things such as our hydraulic pumps are under warranty from manufacturer defects for a period of two years from the date of sale, at minimum. You can even get additional years of warranty for $10 per year added. As generous as we are, our warranty DOES NOT cover damage by use such as (but not limited to) cuts, water, fire, discoloration, fading, or staining. To learn more about what our warranty entails, visit our Warranty Page.
Contrary to what many people think, leather chairs are not build to withstand the salon lifestyle--they will not hold up. They can't get wet, and they stain quite easily… two things that are major no-no's in a salon. That's why we use vinyl that is certified over 10,000 rubs on the Wyzenbeek rub test. What's that? Good question. The Wyzenbeek test is an abrasion test that tests a fabric's ability to withstand surface wear from rubbing (i.e.: the equivalent of different people sitting in a chair over and over). In this test, the fabric is pulled taut in a frame and rubbed in both the warp and weft (filling) directions, using a piece of #10 cotton duck fabric as the abradant. The number of cycles, or double rubs, completed before the fabric shows noticeable wear is counted and determines the abrasion rating. Basically, this is quality stuff.
Double stitching on chairs provides more durability for chairs in everyday use. Chairs are able to withstand more wear and tear, and are less likely to rip when there is double the bond between pieces of material on the chair.
When you shop with us, you can rest assured that your chairs meet the California TB117 Fire Retardant Standards. If you're unsure what exactly that is, it's okay. It means that your chairs are able to withstand enough heat to prevent fire. In fact, our chairs are made from material that can withstand up to approximately 250 degrees Fahrenheit. In short, you're guaranteed a reduced fire hazard, that will be more safe around hairdryers and curling irons. For more information about fire-retardant fabrics, read this.
A base can make or break the visual stimulation of a chair. We get that, but some companies don't. They'll charge you if you want to swap out a base on a chair, which we believe is unfair. We let you pick out whichever base you want for your chair top, at no extra charge! Our base options include five-star, flat square, and round. They're all extremely stylish bases, all for one extremely stylish price. *Note: Our raised square is unavailable for the time being -- Check back on your favorite products later to see when it's back in stock!
Sometimes you just need a little extra wiggle room, and some of our chairs offer just that. With all the same style and quality of our regular-width chairs, you can get one with a few extra inches of room!
Nearly every one of our styling stations are made of real hardwood. We offer real quality to our customers, like something they would have in their own homes. A few of our stations that are made for more water-related use are made of industrial-grade melamine, due to the wear and tear that they will be going through. You can find the high-quality real hardwood in our London Big Ben, London Double Decker, Chicago Playboy, Miami Causeway, and Chelsea Towers. Note: the chocolate, cherry maple and espresso colors are stained hardwood, whereas the black is painted.
Worried about the life of your straighteners and curling irons? You should be. On many of our stations, the appliance holders are made of iron, and powder-coated steel. Even better, they're ventilated. Why is that important? Well, when you place a 400-degree appliance in a holder, there's a chance of overheating, thereby shortening the life of them. But when you place them in ventilated iron holders, you get 50% more life out of them! We take care of the extra cost in order for you to get the extra quality.
